It was based on Superman comic books that transform into much more lavish of version than forty years ago when it had first aired. The featured casts are Dean Cain as Superman/Clark Kent, Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane and John Shea as Lex Luthor.

It focused on the character's of Lois and Clark. The man of steel that created in metropolis was hiding his real identity with the persona of Clark Kent. After he found a work at the world's famous newsletter company, he meets Lois Lane who was also a news reporter of the said company. She become infatuated with his real identity and continues to reject Clark's romantic overtures because of the past bad experience with men.
