Ark II DVD

Ark II was a live-action sci-fi TV series aired from September to December 1976 by CBS. The Saturday morning show was aimed for children showing the effects of mankind's environmental carelessness, abuses, heavy pollution and nuclear war resulting to Earth devastation comared to Dark Age and collapse of human civilization in post-apocalyptic 25th century.

Few good guys & scientists try to help and educate survivors & rebuild civilization, they pooled all their knowledge and resources building Ark II, a futuristic six-wheeled rover vehicle size of a tractor-trailer with hi-tech lab, scientific equipments and gadgetry on board, plus 4-wheeled all-terrain Ark Roamer and the flying jet-pack Jet Jumper use for aerial scouting. Captain Jonah with two young scientists Ruth and Sam and a talking chimpanzee Adam as intelligent as human, they travel around the country with missions to search & bring aid to the remnants of scattered community, educate them and give understanding, promote peace to humanity and bring hope of a new future to mankind.
