Murder, She Wrote was a mystery series premiered on September 30, 1984 and last aired on May 19, 1996. It starred Angela Lansbury as Jessica Fletcher, a mystery writer and amateur detective. Richard Levinson and William Link produced the series. She was traveling around the country to promote his novel but murder seems to follow Jessica, whether she's on her house or with friends. She solves murders when she's not writing about her home town of Cobot, Maine Coastal which said to have highest murder rate.
