Tek War was debuted on the 23rd of January 1994 and ended on the 9th of February 1996. It has two (2) seasons with ninety-nine (99) episodes. It was based on William Shatner's novel. The series was Canadian production in association with U.S. Studios and was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The story revolves with Jake Canigan who was imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. Tek was a highly-addictive electronic designer narcotic of the 21st century and it was said that Jake deals with this type of drug four (4) years ago. He was sentenced for 15 years but fortunately he was released earlier than the expected date.
Jake's wife divorced him and disappeared with there son. He wants to get them back and he also wants to find justice for those undercover policemen who were murdered. Jake along with his ex-partner and also an ex-cop Sid Gomez go to work with the mysterious Bascom. Their first job was easy as they should only locate missing persons and locate a missing scientist.
